Where can I purchase Logic Board

Hello. I had my iMac diagnosed with a damaged logic board by a Mac technician (not Apple Store). He confirms the power supply is ok but the logic board requires a replacement and quoted me approximately $800 for the fix. I refused the fix and used another iMac I had instead. Now, after trying and failing to sell the faulty iMac, I need to purchase the logic board. Tried looking on ebay and other online sources, the only thing I could find is $600-$700 parts.

Any ideas of where I could buy a replacement logic board at a decent price? iFixit will help me with the installation.

Since the volunteers on this forum have no motive but to help you, why not give us a chance to diagnose your machine before you spend a lot of money on a part you are only guessing you need?

My apologies for the delayed response and thank you for your assistance. I seem to have no notifications for new responses. During the time, I had the issue confirmed, it's a damaged logic board. Now, the cost of the logic board doesn't make sense to me as I won't spend 75% of the price of a new iMac to fix the old one. So, either I find a very VERY good deal on a logic board, or otherwise, I would repurpose my iMac for some other use.

I was thinking as using it as a screen for my laptop. Is that possible with a damaged logic board or am I stuck with my iMac?
