Washed & Dried, Won't turn on.

Hello All, My nephew washed his iPhone 4S & put it in the dryer also. Where do I begin to repair this thing. I'll need a new Face plate and screen, plus a back panel, and I'm assuming the battery heated up & isn't working so a new one of them. But my question is should I replace everything else? Power button? And all other hardware to run it? If so what are the main hardware specifics that help it start and run? Battery, Screen, Power Button & ribbon wire, anything else I'm missing?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you have a screen new battery and power button after the board is washed with ISO alcohol then it should fire up if it not badly damaged .

but if you get no signs of power with all them new parts then it's a goner

What do you mean by goner? Like the main board is gone and they don't offer them on this site?

by

Yea the main board will most likely be destroyed and will take someone with motherboard knowledge to maybe get it going but the price for that may exceed the price of the phone..

And no one sells motherboard only way is to buy a iPhone 4 and steal it from that

Thank you for all the help you guys have given me, I'm letting the motherboard soak in ISO now, and the pieces connected to the screen frame. If you guys have any more suggestions let me know. Wish me luck & I'll try to remember to tell you guys what I do, and the outcome.
