Replaced proximity sensor and now isn't turning on

Hi everyone,

My power/lock button stopped working on my iPhone 4 so I bought a replacement proximity sensor (with the black dot on under the lock button where mine had come off).

I replaced the whole proximity sensor and now my phone will not even turn on when pressing the power button or when connecting the charger. Any help will be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance

It sounds like something went a muck in the repair process. I would double check that your battery is connected and try reseating the LCD connection.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for getting back. No luck... I replaced the new proximity sensor with the old original one and the phone works perfectly as before.. just with the power/lock button broke.
