Digitizer is pressing icons by itself without touching the screen.

So, I replaced the digitizer exactly as it was printed in the repair guide. Unfortunately after replacing the digitizer, it started pressing icons, switching screens, minimizing and maximizing apps. However, I have done so much research, I have seen articles indicating that it is something with the metal strip on the digitizer. This article did not resolve the issue, I've attempted to place tape on the desired areas in many different ways, but still nothing. Images will definitely be a plus, thanks!

Yes that should do just fine.

Does the screen work correctly when it's at a 90 degree angle and not closed on the frame?

LCD is separate from the Digitizer. If I lift it, the screen isn't touchable.

I wasent talking about the lcd I'm talking about the digitizer..

So when digizer is lifted of frame a bit the touch dosent work?

Alright, thank you for your response. I've tested the digitzer at 90 degree, and yes it does continues with same issue. I noticed that those images look different than the iPad Mini I have. This is the iPad Mini 16GB Black WiFi only.
