I want to add intel 7260 AC wifi PCIe card

As i understand that there is no extra pcie card slot in it but it is a another challenge for me to add a pcie half size card adapter. I am trying to find if there is a spare ZIF/CE or another spare msata pcie slot on the board.

I can solder the antenna with the help of your teardown pictures.

Please tell me if any solution you have??

A closed system tablet like the Microsoft Surface or Apple iPad don't really have internal expansion.

True, the SSD is a removable sub assembly in the Surface, but it can only support mSATA SSD's and you require a SSD to run your Surface. So thats out. Besides there is no room to even fit the new card or a way to even enable it in the Surface Windows OS.

I think you'll need to sell your system and get a newer model that has 802.11ac services. Now a bit of truth you won't get much improvement in the first generation of 802.11ac. You'll need to wait a bit for MIMO version.

Here is an article backing up what Dan says. The discussion in it is actually on the SP3 and discusses some of the hoops you would need to jump through to add a "foreign" device.
