Can I replace the Logic Board with a different board?

Hello-

I have a MacBook A1181 with a 2.0GHz intel Logic board. The board was water damaged. I have taken the computer apart and put it back together, so I am not concerned with the work involved. I'm just curious if the ports/connections are the same?

Thanks for your help.

as long as the connectors are the same - yes - if you take a newer one, the connectors won't fit

Is there a list anywhere I can find that will tell me which LB's will work ?

not that i'm aware of - the best way is to sell the damaged MacBook on ebay and get a working MacBook - the prices aren't that high for the good "old" pre-unibody models (wich i always prefer)
