Hello all I have refurbished some ones iPhone 5 4 months ago ( replaced basically every thing) now it has started powering off when tilted over 30 degrees in any other direction that straight up ( straight to black screen no shut down spin wheel)
What the !@#$ .
Can some one please help there does not spear to be any thing about this any where

That is a weird one open up and make sure nothing is shorting the phone out on the inside

It is an odd one . My next port of call willbe to remove his logic board and place it in to my phone in the unlikely event there is a short in the accelerometer :/ I'm hoping the issue doesn't continue

Why don't you turn it off go to accessibility and turn off reduce motion and oriontation lock aswell see if it stops it from turning off

I fizzes the problem this was not the issue see comment below my question

So people I have an answer . After a lot of reading it turns out that apparently the chip that controls the accelerometer is also the chip controlling the signals from the touch screen . So I gave the touch screen connector a !@#$ good clean with alcohol and hey presto it has ceased to be an issue.
