Well I've had this problem with my 4s its not the charger because i have the same 4s in sprint that charges and syncs on my computer any suggestions please? won't work in recovery or dfu. weird thing is when device is off and i plug to the computer it powers it on, but thats all it does.

Try plugging the device in, powering it off and leaving it there for a while to see if it charges. This happened to be with my iPhone 4. There is a small IC Chip on the board that when blow doesn't allow it to charge while it is powered on

tried it but it only charges with a wall charger now thanks alot another question is when i plug it to my laptop it doesnt charge or sync its a macbook running mavericks and wont work on my windows 7 either appreciate all the help btw
