Digitizer causing multi and phantom touches.

About a year and a half ago I cracked my digitizer, I replaced it myself and it has worked fine since then. Recently though I have been getting multi touches (press Z and get zzzzzzzz) and phantom touches randomly dragging and touching my screen.

I took it apart and cleaned both sides with a cleaning cloth. The ribbon looks fine, and contacts look fine but the problem still persists. I'm unable to figure out what other problems it could be.

The digitizer can just go faulty if with a small drop and I assume you replacement screen was a copy screen so it's likely to go faulty and not as resilient as an original screen
