My screen looks dark and shadowed around writing

I replaced my LCD with a genuine apple LCD from this site, when i connected it everything seemed fine, but when the key board comes on screen it looks extemely dark, you can see the letters but not the gaps between each of the letters. Also on the icons on the home screen the write i.e 'messages' 'contacts' seems to have a dark haze around them that fades out into the background. Can anyone please help??

If it's the same with both screens then it's not a screen problem .

Check on the motherboard were the lcd connects and see is any of the pins damaged
