A recent slight drop caused the upper left part of the screen to separate from the case. Can this be repaired without disassembly? Pushing down on the corner re-aligns things, but clips won't hold it in place. Phone is working normally, but for how long...

The 5c as you said clips in at top off phone it's possible that the little clip has bend a bit causing the raise in the screen..
There shouldn't be any problems with the screen as long as it doesn't come out any further when dropped again

Phone is still under AppleCare. Do you think they will fix or replace it for free? I'll be in DC in a month or so.
My phones done the same thing except my screen is completely black.
