Why is home button still not working after ribbon replacement

I dropped my iPhone 5 last week and replaced the screen and the home button. It still did not work so I replaced the home button ribbon cable and it is still not working. What else can I do to get the home button working?

The charging port delivers the power to the home button if you open up the phone an. Look at the bottom you will see two gold prongs this is what powers the home button
