replacement charge connector, why is it different ie no components on

i have just brought from ebay, a replacement charge connector for iphone 4, but noticed that there are no components on the bottom, just lots of glue where as there are on the original, where the components should be, why is this or have i been ripped off

Options

The part you need is iPhone charging port assembly. It has charging port, flex cable, lower mic and connector of the home button flex cable, all a large single part. It looks like this: [linked product missing or disabled: IF182-009]
