galaxy S4 wont power on at all.

Well i left my s4 to charge one day as normal when i went back to it, it was hot to the touch so i disconnected it let it cool tried turning it back on it wouldnt so i tried different usb cables till nothing all it does now is get really hot behind the sd slot and eventually heats or warms up my phone depending if i leave it plunged in i noticed when i plug it into a wall charger i hear this distinct ticking sound behind the sd/ power button. ive opened it and its the ribbon connector to the motherboard that heats up and the ticking sound.

so maybe a bad ribbon.

please help??

I would try a new battery first before jumping to conclusions

different battery didnt work

i was able to charge my battery on a different device when my device boots up it begins to get really hot and it takes forever to boot.
