Please take some time to clarify your question.
It could be an issue with having two or more sound drivers installed.
This situation is usually caused by installing the sound device drivers from a graphics card or a new sound card, in any of those cases if you don't completely remove/disable the drivers that are native to your mother board or PC in general, or install new drivers and don't perform a clean install, the drivers may indeed cause interference with each other. If you still need an answer, please reply to this with your computer specifications, please include the version of Windows you are using. If a part was replaced or installed with a new device please give the name, brand, and model number if possible.
