Graphic problem, external screen working

Hi

I have a MacBook core duo 2.0 with a huge screen problem as you can see on my attached pictures.

Every white part is pink, and on the desktop there's pink and green fuzzy clouds. It's there right from the start when the computer boots. the boot- apple is actually green.

Beside that the computer is 100% stable, and doesn't really get warm at all.

The weird thing is that it is working perfectly on a external screen, which makes me believe that there's nothing wrong with the actual graphic?

I tried to borrow and install a new inverter board and cable with out any better result.

There doesn't seem to be any loose connection's on the mother board either.

I wonder if it could be a some how corrupted lcd cable?

Otherwise I'm a bit clueless now, and hope you can help me getting the part I need to safe my MacBook

Thanks in adwance

Pretty shure you have a problem with the LVDS cable. It might be damaged in the hinge area.

well I think maybe it's the cable too, but it doesn't seem to do any difference when Im trying to move the cable by the hinge a little bit. It doesen't seem to affect the screen for worse or better.

could it be something else?

(Before i starting to take the computer completely appart.)

Thanks in advance

Jakob
