My screen is not responding to touch/can't power off.

My screen is not responding to touch which in turn, I cannot power off my tablet. When I press and hold the power butter, it will eventually restarts, but when it comes back up, still no response to touch. If anyone has any advice; I'm listening. Thanks

Lett, sounds like a failed digitizer. The digitizer and the LCD are adhered together and you will need a heat source (heat gun etc.) to separate. Not an easy job, but doable. Check this video to show you how to do it. The digitizer and the adhesive strips are available at places like this.

Sounds like your digitizer has gone out and unfortunately with the tabs you have to replace the entire lcd and digitizer assembly and it usually ends up being cheaper to replace the whole device!
