iPhone 5s home button works after repair but touch ID doesn't?

Hello,

Thank You for taking some time to help me with my problem, after replacing the screen on my iPhone 5S the home button works but touch id does not (the option has disappeared from settings).

Any help would be appreciated

And the cables don't appear to be damaged.

Did you keep the same home button flex? Try a hard reset.

ive had this happen before aswell, try a soft reset, that worked for me (home button and power button till phone turns off)

my issue is the other way around. home button wont work but my touch id does. any ideas on how to fix this? also i have no service after the screen replacement as well.

If your touch ID is not showing as an option in your settings then you damaged the home button flex cable. You will need to take the iPhone to Apple for a replacement.
