Home button unresponsive after changing front panel

After replacing the front panel, the home button is unresponsive. If I press the switch directly it works fine, but not with the button.

It doesn't seem to have something to do with the repair, but before it, it was working perfectly!

Any advice?

Hello,

You should check to make sure that there is a small black spacer on the home button flex. (It's very small) If its missing then you simply need a new home flex!

It is not missing... It is strange that if I press it with a pen it works, but not with the button...
