Dead spot on iPad Mini screen!?

Ok so I replaced my iPad mini's screen for the first time because I cracked it! When i First turned it on after the replacement it worked fine except for a small "dead spot" on the diginalizer. It was a line from left to right on the bottom of the device(Not Visible, will not recognize touch) It was so small so I didn't bother with it. A few weeks later it is about a half inch think and it is at the top of my screen now. I can't do anything without twisitng the iPad billions of time. I re-seated the diginalizer and got no results! Is there any way I can fix this because I really would like to use my screen again!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

i had something similar happen to me with an ipad 4 but in my case the cable was just loose, if you have already checked that, i would look closely for damaged pins, the digi connector on the iPad mini board is VERY fragile , after that i would try a new digi and try to send that one back as defective

I want to send it back as defective as a last resort because I can't go the time without a screen on my iPad, it is a necessity! I'm hopping there is something I can do

yes--check connector--it should have even rows of gold pins on both sides. If one or more is missing, that is your problem. If not, then digitizer flex, or touch ic

The screen you installed is most likely defective and will need another
