Digitizer Not Responsive After Opening iPad

Dropped my iPad and bent the corner of the back case pretty good. Everything still worked fine and screen was not cracked.

I opened up the iPad, removed the LCD and digitizer, bent the case back straight and replaced everything.

Everything appears to be working fine except for the digitizer. It's mostly unresponsive, but does occasionally seem to move slightly if I swipe, though I've yet to be able to even unlock it.

Looking for ideas on trouble shooting. The actual physical connections appear to be undamaged.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Most likely case = damaged the digitizer flex with a crease. New digitizer is next step.

If not solved, look hard a digitizer connector---it could be missing a pin (common on the similar ipad mini)

Thanks for the response. After looking some more, I believe I must have damaged the digitizer connection when removing it. There's definitely a piece peeling up. I've ordered a new digitizer.
