Why wont my Nexus 7 turn on after its battery being drained?

So I had my nexus 7 (2012) for a couple of months. A month ago i dropped it and the screen broke, but It still worked fine. After some time the charger stopped working and one night it shut off. Next morning It didn't turn on. I tried some tricks and it still didn't start so I thought the problem was with the battery cable loosening up. So I opened it up and after some time (and a bit of motherboard scratching I took it off) but I noticed that I accidentally knocked out a golden hook thing. Now I'm trying to repair it and I'm going to send it to some shop but what do you think is the problem with it and what does that golden hook thing do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

petar, you should consider posting an image or two of the " I accidentally knocked out a golden hook thing.also, if you can further explain this "I tried some tricks", as well as "and a bit of motherboard scratching I took it off" so we do not repeat to much about stuff you already did. Next you want to start by checking the charger with a multimeter and see what voltage you get. If the voltage on your charger is okay, you need to take a look at the micro USB connector. Measure the voltage on that with the charger plugged in.
