Video card repair

Hello. I have got problem. I need to change video card in my iMac. As I remember it was nvidia 8800 gs. My question is what should I change exactly? Should I change fully this thing http://s1.postimg.org/j64ywb2pr/57_1.jpg or only http://s12.postimg.org/d5rnac8x9/image.j...

?

Or I can should change only chip (for example this one this http://s28.postimg.org/ydotvnd99/T2e_C16...) ?

You don't need all that heat sink. You don't even need to take it all off when replacing the PCI type video card. The main problem (since so many failed) is supply and demand and the very high price of replacement cards. By the way, the 3.06 card is not interchangeable with the lower cards. Brickfense on eBay sells a repair of the card. Here's the one I keep a watch on: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111276411861?ssP...

Mikhail, the attached image shows you the video card. The Nvidia "chip" is the processor. That would need a reball to be changed and is not for the normal DIY'er. Hope this helps good luck.
