After screen replacement nothing on screen

I replaced my LCD on my iphone 5, however the problem is that it when it get turned on just the back light is showing on the screen, it is lighting up but nothing on the screen, so i tired a different LCD and same problem. So i put it into recovery mode (DFU mode) and when i went to restore it in itunes, it would say 'waiting for iphone'

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

It sounds like your LCD is just not secured on correctly. I would try reseeding the connector and if that does not work simply perform a hard reset and see what that does.

Contrary to Apple Forums a restore almost never fixes hardware issues.

Hope this helps!

Reseeding? Is that just putting the connector back in place?
