Where does this piece go after iPhone 4S battery replacement?

I got the antenna shield back in place, but this tiny rectangular piece is left over from battery replacement. It's about the size of one of the small screws from the battery connector and seems to be surrounded by a tiny metal mesh.

Hi this goes in between the frame and dock connector flex on the lower left side it's only a cushion and is not really needed
