Replacing the heatsink and repasting, I am stuck with the thermal sensor connector not connecting to the logic board... at least no obvious way, logic board doesn't seem to have any bracket or pin of any sort... Am I missing something?

Of course the sensor has a connector on the board. Which one are you not finding?

Then I must have damaged it when I pried it from the logic board to remove the heat sink... If I could have a close-up pic of the logic board's connection point...
