No front camera, proximiy sensor after repair

I repaired a bad power button a while ago and lost the front proximity sensor and power button. I bought a replacement front camera/proximity sensor cable and a replacement main speaker. Speaker replacement worked fine, but both the old and new front camera/prox sensor won't work in the phone.

I know that a small resistor commonly gets knocked off the board to the right of the LCD connector that can cause this issue, but I checked and it's still there. My version of the iphone 5 had some black protective tape-like substance covering the board near the LCD connector, so prying the connector off never affected that resistor. I lifted the tape and could clearly see it there.

Any other ideas i can try to attempt to get the proximity sensor & front camera working working?

Oh--- and after this repair Siri can't hear me. Phone works, voice memos work, but siri can't hear me. :(
