I'm replacing the battery on my gen 1 shuffle. It looks like the old battery has some sort of circuit board on the terminals. Does the replacement battery have that too or do I need to solder the new battery to that circuit board?

mjschaff, I believe that you are referring to the board that actually controls the battery. It will be part of the battery and you will not have to solder. Hope this helps, good luck.
