Black screen after replacing optical drive?

Hey guys,

Just got done replacing the optical drive in my girlfriend's Macbook.

Good news is, it works, took the disc, and sounds a !@#$ of a lot better than it did before. The laptop powers up, and I can hear everything working, but the screen is still black.

Just wondering if there is a cable in there somewhere I may not have secured properly?

Yes. The display data cable runs near the optical bay. You may have dislodged it or damaged it.
