Can I upgrade non retina screen to a retina one?
My ipad screen and lcd are cracked. I was wondering if would be possible to upgrade it to a retina display.

No, the Internals of the original Mini are not compatible with the Retina display. iPods and iPads are pretty much non upgradable or parts swap- able between different models/generations.
