Is it possible to replace the lcd without the glass?
Hi,
Can i change the lcd only without changing the whole upper case?
Can't find a repair manual on the internet for this.

The LCD is just a glass panel, with no box or frame to make an assembly. The backlight spreader sheets are directly behind it so if you want to remove the LCD, you have to do it in a clean room, otherwise dust enters and leave dark spots on the display.
