Wont boot up, need help pinpointing the problem

iMac Intel 24" EMC 2134 and 2211

Model A1225 / Mid 2007 and Early 2008 / 2.4, 2.8, or 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo processor

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if its a problem with the graphics card or the logic board.

At boot the fan and dvd starts, but no signs of life on the screen, there is no chime/tone at startup.

I removed the RAM and booted and it gave me the 1 beep sound.

Diagnostic lights:

Led 1 is turned on when the computer is off and connected to power.

Led 1 and 2 is turned on when the computer is powered on.

Is there anyway i can be sure on if it´s the logic board or the graphics card?

Tommy, you are saying that LED #1 is off and on. Give us more information on what you are really seeing in respect to the LED's

See this thread. If you have touched the GPU be certain it's fully completely squarely seated in the connector.

Sorry the ON/OFF state refers to the computers state.

Led 1 is turned on when the computer is off and connected to power.

Led 1 and 2 is turned on when the computer is powered on.
