Why won't my ipad 2 speaker wire snap back into place

The speaker wire snapped up just fine but won't snap back down into place, it just slides around in its place but won't land and attach securely, what should I do??

Ha ha!! You got it that is exactly what is happened. So my options now since I do not have a µ during tool, I to try and glue it in place with all contacts firmly touching and hope for the best right?

It is possible that the connector that is supposed to remain attached to the mother board may have detached when you removed the audio connector. Are you able to provide a picture ?

Terry--don't try to glue it, that won't work and it will make the connector repair much more difficult. If you don't do micro soldering, send the board out to have the connector replaced. At my shop that would be a basic level 1 repair.
