My iPhone 5s headphone jack broke in two pieces

I'd been having trouble with my headphones as I couldn't hear on both of them unless I turned the plug around a little while plugged to my phone/computer or twisted it back in its place outside the device, because it would twist itself while I listened to music, causing this problem. When I was twisting it back, the headphone jack broke in two little pieces that detached from the first metal ring. I figured out which place they go, but I do not know how to put the pieces together, as I've looked for information about this all around and have only seen help with headphone jacks INSIDE the device, when the only thing I want is to put the metal pieces together and make sure it works fine.Could I actually just glue them together or something like that? Is there the possibility the headphone jack could work again? Help is much appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi there best thing to do would be to get it replaced with a new one the part is inexpensive..

I wouldn't be gluing it back that's my advice but it's up til you hard to no if gluing it would even work.

The phone will still be covered by warrenty so apple will give you a new 5s free of charge or replace the headphone jack free
