Face buttons are loose

I recently replaced my joysticks because they were wearing out and everything works great. The only issue I have is that now my face buttons seem to be a little loose. When I shake the controller I can hear and fell them wiggle around. Is there a screw that needs to be tightened or any other fix?

Answer this question I have this problem too

This isn't a particularly good answer, as I haven't had the chance to open a DS4 yet, but I can almost guarantee that something fell out or was misplaced when you replaced your joysticks, typically a lot of components are sitting loose in the enclosure, especially face buttons. If you don't get an answer that's a bit more helpful, try opening the controller in question as well as another controller that hasn't been opened, see if there's any discrepancies. Just make sure to keep the front of the controller facing down so none of the buttons or anything fall out, I think that's mentioned in the joystick replacement guide as well.

I was watching the Ben Heck show on YouTube. He made a handheld game system and the buttons were loose, so he put funky foam around the buttons to hold them in place. I know that most controllers use membrane buttons, and his system used tact switches, so it may not work as well, but it's a relatively low-risk repair idea.
