battery, solder emi shield, wont turn on, starts to smell funny.

Hey.. I was soldering the emi shield back on the phone, there wasn't enought solder near the battery.. I did use more solder and i got solder over the battery connector solder points. I tried to remove the solder as best as i can. But it wont turn on now.. And i don't know if its just me, but when i connect the battery the battery begins to smell like a weak parfume..

Please answer fast..

Options

I think you create a short circuit with your solder. You have to remove really all the solder and check if there are any bridges between the batterie connector solder points...
