Error 1 on restore
iPhone 4 CDMA, restore error 1, no water damage, gets about 80% done and quits. Even in DFU mode. Any ideas?

Error 1 is hardware failure never heard of a solution for this..

That is what I heard...the screen is cracked, to you think it is due to being dropped?
It's possible a drop can give error 1 and hard to know what it's destroyed
