None functional screen after replacement!

Hello,

I tried to replace a screen on an iPhone 5 this day and stumbled on an issue I've never seen before.

I've replaced hundreds of screens and never had this problem before. Is there any easy fix for this or is the screen just malfunctional?

You're unable to restart the phone once the text appeared. I have to disconnect the battery to shut it off!

Do you think it will work if I disconnect the flex cable and restart the phone?
