Why is my engine not getting any fuel

My car has been parked and started regularly. I have just jried starting it again and it is not getting any fuel to the Throtle Body. I own a 1991 318is with a 1.8 liter.

I can't say for certain in your case but when I had the same problem with my truck the fuel pump in the gas tank wasn't working. Fortunately for me it was a fuse and not the pump. You should check for a fuel pump fuse and replace it if defective. Also you can remove the gas cap and listen while another person switches the key on to hear if the pump is working. If the pump is good and the fuse is good see if you can blow out whatever is blocking the fuel line. Hope this helps. Ralph

You could also have a look at the fuel filter (located in the engine department, if my memory doesn't fail me). Maybe it's clogged up.

Thanks for the input...I have removed the fuel filter and am not getting any fuel to the filter. I have now removed the fuel pump and will try that. I have found out there is a fuel regulator and relay before I go any further I will check those.
