Can't get 3G Signal

Hi, I have iPhone 3GS with 3.1.2 firmware (05.11.07). I unlocked & jailbreak it with blackra1n RC3.

The problem now i'm having is, I can't get the 3G signal anymore. if I switched to 3G it just get 'no network' sign all the time. So now i can just use it with the 3G switched off (only gprs/edge/wifi)

I already asked the cellular operator and they say there's no problem with their network and I also replaced my sim card with new one.

I wanna know if this an hardware (receiver malfuncion, etc) problem or firmware (baseband) problem? are there any solution (except; buy a new iPhone)

because my friend with the same condition above (iPhone type, operator, etc) doesnt have this problem.

What network carrier do you use?

I'm in southeast asia (indonesia) my carrier is Telkomsel (http://www.telkomsel.com/web/home)
