My laptop keyboard ribbon may have disconnected?

This is the first laptop I've had this occur on. I have a Toshiba p755-s5120. From what I've read, the ribbon may have disconnected but here is my problem. I had just finished a game and was answering a skype message when suddenly my keyboard started doing what keyboards do if they get wet, except I didn't get it wet! I thought it was a bug until I restarted and the keyboard stopped working completely!.. except for the ability to infinitely scroll down! The mouse works and my USB one too, and the scrolling stopped now. My entire keyboard doesn't work now though.

Tamia, check this video for the disassembly. Make sure your cable is properly seated. If it is and your keyboard does not work, consider replacing it. Hope this helps, good luck
