Check that the connector for the power flex is attached to the logic board.

Replace the power flex, you may have damaged it during screen replacement.

Hey Steve I got it 'fixed' and then it shut off again today paid 75 to get it fixed….do i go again or is my iPhone just broken??

by

Melina,

Don't pay £75 again as that is really expensive for a power flex to be fitted If indeed that is what you had done. Your problem is either the Power flex, Battery or the battery connector on the logic board has a dry joint. Try Placing a small square of folded paper or card above the battery connector and replace the back cover ensuring the paper etc., is still in place and try that.

If phone still playing up then the logic board is probably at fault. Apple Will exchange the phone under an out of warranty repair and currently this is approximately £120 for the iPhone 4. Don't keep spending money on it.

Regards,

Steve...
