iPhone 5 front screen ok, lcd broken

I dropped my iphone 5 on the floor, but the screen didn't get broken or any cracks. When I press the home button some green stripes appear, so the lcd must be broken. But how can the lcd get broken when the screen is ok?

Answer this question I have this problem too
