Reassembling power button and flex cable but contact isnt exact?

When reassembling the power button, the hinge, and the flex cable on the iPhone 5, it seems that the contact of the original power button does not exactly meet the button on the original flex cable. This is a problem that I've had going back to the iPhone 4, but I have yet to find an exact fix for it. Does anyone have any ideas or tips on reassembly to make sure that there is proper contact so that the button clicks correctly?

on the iphone 4 and the iphone 5 flex cables there is a hole either side of the clicker these line up on holes on the metal bracket you must not have them aligned
