My microphone doesn't work after screen replacement.

I replaced my screen on my GSM/AT&T iPhone 4. All other phone features work great, except for when I'm in a call, and the phones speakerphone feature is active, the caller cannot hear me. I've cleaned the noise canceling port next to the headphone jack, and I've ensured all connectors are tight. I can record my voice in a voice memo, and make calls just fine without using the speakerphone. I could use any assistance, I cannot figure this one out.

Thanks a lot everyone.

I have installed a new dock connector. It is malfunctioning in the same exact way. I ordered a new proximity sensor ribbon as this has the noise cancelling port on it and I had heard that this can cause similar problems. Please let me know if anyone has any other ideas.
