Can inoperative Menu, Back buttons and lights be fixed?

(SGH1337) I have two S4s. On #1, the LCD needed replacing. #2 was water damaged but LCD ok only the camera failed. I swapped the LCDs following your excellent guide. #1 swapped LCD and all functions now work great except the L and R Menu and Back lights and functions on the bottom of the screen have disappeared. Any ideas? I did recheck all connections.

Options

Seems the water damage has damaged the lights I would clean the connector with ISO alcohol and let dry then connect again and see if it works.. If not then there's not a lot you can do
