2000 BMW Z3 2.3 Airbag light is on all the time
The light came on one day year ago and stayed on since. Is this something can be done at home? Thank you.

The light is on because there is a problem with the air bag system. When the air bag light is on the system is not working and will not deploy in the event of an accident. Take it to AutoZone and get a free computer read out tom find out what the problem is.

Possibly the seat switch is defective or more likely the seat switch plug under the seat was unplugged when the key was turned on causing the air bag light to stay on.

had the same problem with BMW 3... it was this problem..
I’m having the same problem, I took it to be inspected with no lights on and when the inspector came in he told me the airbag is on , needs ball joints and the rear parking light was out plus the gear shift feels like something came loose cause it will not stay in park....I’m AMAZED !!!
