The felt or dust cover that surrounds the opening of the dvd slot on my MacBook is loose and prevents cds from ejecting. Is there a way to fix that or does the whole lower case shell need to be replaced?

Here is a link to a part I think will work for you. Including the link to remove the lower case. I think you only need to go far enough to replace the part. Ralph
