Options

Return/Enter button doesn't work

I spilt water on my keyboard and all my keyboard buttons are working except for the return key. Not sure if I can fix it, just replace return key, need a new keyboard. Assistance appreciated. Regards, Gary

Hi,

No way to fix it with replacing the key. The keyboard is encapsulated. You can try this:

Switch of the laptop, and warm gently the keyboard with a hair dryer. If this not help you, you need new KB.

But for the laptop is more good to be disassembled and to be clean from inside. Other wise in the futures you will have problems with it.
