No wifi or bluetooth after replacing optical drive and trackpad.
I have a MacBook Pro 15 a1286 2.93ghz Core 2 Duo (Early 2009). Recently I took apart my MBP to replace a cracked trackpad, and I thought it would also be a good time to replace my ailing optical drive with a SSD from Other World Computing.
I put everything back together, and I had to adjust the trackpad screw a bit to get it to work. But I now have no wifi or bluetooth.
When I originally buttoned everything back up, the system would not power up. I had to go in and loosen the left hand mounting screws for the ssd bracket, this allowed the system to power on. I don't know if that affected this or not.
What should I check?
Is this a good question?
